The AMC series Mad Men has been renewed for a fourth season, according to the network's president and GM, Charlie Collier. The show is set during the 1960s and takes an old school look at the lives of employees at a fictional ad agency. People smoke in the office, there's lots of boozing, and it's not at all uncommon to sleep with your secretary.
Acording to Collier, "We always saw the potential for 'Mad Men,' and believed in and supported the series. It's been extremely gratifying to see the show develop into such a pop-cultural phenomenon with such a passionate fan base. ... We're excited to let our audience know the captivating world of Sterling Cooper will be back." Last month, the third season of the show debuted to a record audience of 4.5 million viewers. |

Mad Men is easily one of the best shows on television. Jon Hamm completely steals the show as main character Donald Draper, but even the supporting actors and actresses are excellent. I'm particularly fond of (and attracted to) Christina Hendricks. January Jones is great as Betty Draper too. If you're not watching Mad Men already, you owe it to yourself to check it out.
