For some reason, I watched this show for the entire first season. My interest fizzled out in the 2nd season after a couple of episodes.

Last Season: Susan moved into a trailer after her house was burned down, Lynette faced a crisis in her marriage and Gabrielle suspected Carlos of cheating with their live-in maid.

Intent on bringing the show out of last season’s creative slump, executive producer Marc Cherry (who wrote the first season’s episodes) is once again taking the reins of the show. Gone are the Applewhites and their ridiculously strange story arc. Season two finds Xiao-Mei about to give birth, Lynette reaching her breaking point with Nora, and Bree and Orson getting engaged.

Eva Longoria was rushed to the hospital after she slipped on a step coming out of her trailer and suffered a nasty fall. Luckily, she only suffered bruised ribs.

It was not the first time Longoria needed to be taken to the hospital from a 'Housewives' set. In August 2005 she was hit in the head by a piece of equipment and needed emergency attention.

Ah, the perils of weighing 98 pounds.
