Default Michael Jackson to Receive Award
Michael Jackson will make a rare public appearance at the World Music Awards in London next month, organizers announced Sunday.

Jackson will receive a Diamond Award, given to artists who sell more than 100 million albums, at the industry ceremony on Nov. 15.

The annual show business awards select winners based on the strength of their worldwide record sales. Previous recipients of the Diamond Award include Rod Stewart, Mariah Carey and Celine Dion.

'Michael Jackson to Receive Lifetime Achievement Award'


'Michael Jackson is to receive a posthumous Grammy for Lifetime Achievement Award, adding to his previous 15 Grammy Awards. Others receiving the award include Leonard Cohen, David "Honeyboy" Edwards, Clark Terry and late singer Bobby Darin. This year's Lifetime Achievement Award winners will be honored by The Recording Academy at an invitation-only event : January 30th, the day before the official Grammy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles.'
