Cornell to Sing New Bond Theme
It was announced today by producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc. and Sony Pictures Entertainment, that Chris Cornell, the singer/songwriter behind Soundgarden, Audioslave and Temple of the Dog, has written, in collaboration with Bond composer David Arnold, and will perform the main title song entitled "You Know My Name," for the new James Bond adventure Casino Royale.

I'm looking forward to this. I always liked him in Soundgarden, and very few can wail like Cornell. I'm surprised that they didn't go with a bigger name (considering people like Madonna and Tina Turner often do them these days).

Soundgarden is different from Savage Garden right?
Actually the Goldeneye song by Tina Turner was originally supposed to be done by Ace Of Base. What I meant is that Ace Of Base was supposed to do the song for the Bond film which Tina Turner did the song. Hope I'm not confusing you LOL |

love him...love soundgarden...love his 1st solo record "euphoria morning" but that bond song and everything since has really been a let down...audioslave/ rage against the garden was ok and had some decent tunes...

Never like the Bond's theme. I better prefer Pink Panther's theme, Mission Impossible theme, or something more catchy
