what bands do I like? Well you guys might not agree with me tastes but I listen to stuff like Reel Big Fish, Queens of the Stone Age (my favorite band right there), Queen, Brian Jonestown Massacre (though I don't know any of their song names except Open Heart Surgery), Less than Jake, Red Hot Chili Peppers (I realize they are big popular band, but I never said I hated all popular singers/bands), some Bon Jovi, Blue Oyster Cult (MORE COWBELL!!), Audioslave, and a bunch more I can't really name now. I like pretty much any classic rock song, though since they are before my time I don't know many of their names just the big ones like Deep Purple and Cream and Rolling Stones and stuff like that, though I've heard many different older rock songs that I loved. I grew up with that stuff from my dad. I also have a dislike of Korn and I always thought Metallica was overrated (not bad though, just WAY overrated), and i never much cared for Nirvana that much (though I'll admit I haven't really listened to a whole bunch of their songs). I also like a lot of funk songs that I don't know the names to or the artists. All these bands I've named, I've never really actually seen. i just know them by listening to them and going "Oh, this is a pretty awesome band." I've liked bands before and then I found out they were all MTV popular and I was still like "Oh, well they are still awesome band." DOnt' think I'm just biased against popular music (though I hate all pop pretty much, there are some songs that odn't annoy me but as far as songs i like...ehhh...)

by the way, everyday working at Wal-Mart is hell because I have to hear this stupid song every 5 freaking minutes. If I have to hear "HEY HEY YOU YOU" and see her punching the screen one more time....I'm going to punch somebody.

I can just see the headlines now.

"Enraged man attacks employees over pop music."

The thing that pisses me off about Wal-Mart is their policy on editing all their music. I never buy music there.

Do you like Fishbone at all?

By the way, you've got some great stuff on that list. I'm particularly fond of Queens of the Stone Age and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

heh thanks, I've never really heard fishbone, but I just checked them out right now, they sound alright, different heh. But at the same time I don't think I'll be going out and getting one of their CDs. Yeah Q.O.T.S.A. is my favorite band, have you heard some of their as-of-yet-unreleased stuff? They got 3 songs out from their next cd, Sick Sick Sick, and 3's & 7's, and Era Vulgaris (which has been taken off the CD, but its still a pretty good song). Those songs are awesome. Also, you should hear a song by them called the Fun Machine Took a Shit and Died, just look on youtube for a video, or go to projectplaylist.com and look for it there. The other songs should be there too. I go to work today and i really hope that they've changed their music loop around....it's still going to be annoying but maybe I won't have to hear "HEY HEY YOU YOU" every 5 minutes.

oh yeah, the editing music thing is stupid. We just had the CD/Books/Movies distributor vendor guy here a couple weeks ago, we had to take out about a cardload of CDs, most of them popular CDs that had been edited. And this isn't even a very big store, we don't have very many CDs.

Yeah, I have a friend that used to work at Wally World. He never had anything good to say about the place. He called it "Working for the Evil Empire."
