Just wanted to let all the aspiring horror writers on here know about a new opportunity to be published (and get paid).

Horror Fiction Magazine is a new quarterly devoted to horror short stories, poetry and artwork. We plan to release out first issue around March or April of 2009, and we’re hoping to include between six and twelve short stories per issue. Please keep in mind that this is an actual print publication, not a digital journal.

We’re currently accepting submissions from both new and established writers. We will consider any story up to 10,000 words in length, and we’ll pay 3 cents per word upon acceptance. Poetry and artwork are also needed, but please email with a query before submitting artwork.

We do accept simultaneous submissions, but let us know as soon as possible if your submission is accepted elsewhere. We’re only interested in purchasing first publication rights.
