- Black Adam is pretty much pummeling the crap out of everyone. After single-handedly taking out the entire Captain Marvel family, the angered antihero rolls over the Omega Men, the Doom Patrol and the Sydney Opera House.
- Green Lantern Alan Scott and the rest of the Justice Society intent on stoppng Black Adam. Unfortunately for them, Adam is headed to China where his wrathful ways will cross the Great Ten. After China’s premier squad of superpowered heroes realize they can’t do it alone, the combined might of America’s superhero community is called into the fight. - Lots of buildings get destroyed, and meanwhile Captain Marvel gets tossed out on his ear by the Egyptian gods who give Black Adam his power. Apparently they like it when their earthbound avatar blows stuff up. - Back on the ground, Steel and his niece Natasha are at the end of an all-night superweapon build-a-thon, and they think they have the goods to lick Black Adam and good. Then Booster Gold shows up, tells them it won’t work and steals the device before disappearing. That jerk! Over in the midst of the battle, it’s time for Infinity Inc. to put up or shut up in regards to being heroes. They run away. - As the battle rages on, Captain Marvel dives down from the Rock of Eternity with a plan. Calling out his magic word “Shazam,” Marvel directs his own magic lightning bolt toward Adam, stealing his powers in the process. While the troublesome titan falls (into the giant hands of whom?) the rest of the heroes take a sigh of relief knowing that the war is all over…except Adam’s escaped! No worries, says Captain Marvel: His new position as the man behind the Rock of Eternity allowed Cap to change Black Adam’s magic word from Shazam. Soon, we find Adam wandering the streets of Kahndaq, trying to find his new magic word and failing. - T.O. Morrow finally lands his Omnibot at a secret lab of his own creation with Red Tornado’s head in tow! And while doctor is getting ready to see what’s in the robot’s head, Booster and Rip Hunter show up and tell him that it's time to save the universe. |

Looks like most of the storylines are wrapped up, except for the Booster Gold storyline and the heroes trying to get home from space. I keep wondering if there's going to be a big villain to fight or what?
I did hear one rumor that would tend to indicate that there won't be any big villain. Stop reading if you don't want to be exposed to this possibly incorrect piece of information........ .... .... .... .... .... .... ..... Here it is: The multiverse is still around. That's right, all the multiple Earths and stuff still exist. I hope there's a bit more to it, but that's what I heard. |

I'm going to be seriously pissed if that's all they've building to for 52 weeks. I honestly expected more from a project that Keith Giffen was involved in, but I guess I can't blame it all on him. |
