- Bruce “Batman” Wayne confronts his inner demons while Robin and Wonder Woman chat.
- After failing to kill (or even track down) Batwoman, Whisper A’Daire and company sacrifice some dude in an attempt to track the superheroine down. - Later, Intergang boss and crime-worshiping Bruno Mannheim yells at Whisper and the man-wolf Mr. Abbot about their unsuccessful hunt for Batwoman. Suddenly, Whisper realizes what this weird prophecy from the Bible of Crime meant! The twice-named daughter of Cain was actually Batwoman. Now, all they have to do is find a rich woman named Cain…or Kane? - On Oolong Island, the torture of Black Adam seems to go to plan, which has Doc Will Magnus depressed again. Despite having built some new, tiny Metal Men, the Doc is bemoaning the fact that he’s also built an uncontrollable killing machine. - Flying his way home from space at a nice clip thanks to some Sun-eaters, Buddy Baker, aka Animal Man, is again pulled off course by the big-headed yellow aliens who like to screw with his life from time to time. While their talk is cryptic, their actions speak loud by showing Buddy a future glimpse of his wife moving on without him (i.e. with another man!!). - In Metropolis, John Henry Irons is busy rebuilding his Steelworks facility with the help of his niece Natasha, who is busy telling Beast Boy that she won’t become a Teen Titan since she and John are starting their own “team.” - Back in Gotham later that week, Montoya returns from Nanda Parbat to find Kate Kane’s apartment ransacked and Kate nowhere in site. Drat! Luckily, Nightwing is around to offer his services and ensure a really awkward meeting when the two of them find the powerhouse redhead. - Finally, after a week of sitting on a mountainside, Wonder Woman confronts her own inner demons by communing with the goddess Rama Kushna. Robin, meanwhile, waits for Batman to emerge from the cave, and when he does, the Dark Knight looks very happy. |
