I'd choose an old-fashioned firing squad for the dramatic effect. But I would also want to make sure that I declined the blindfold, had one last cigarette, and gave a memorable quote before leaving this world.

Call me old-fashioned, but I would take the guillotine. As gruesome as that might sound, there really couldn't be a quicker death, and it would be bloody dramatic (with an emphasis on the "bloody").
