12/21/2012 - Doomsday?
As anyone (who is interested in this date in time) knows the Mayan Long-Count calender ends on 12/21/2012. I am especially interested in the date because December 21st is my birthday. Some speculate that this will be the end of the world. I myself, am still researching the event, but I am very skeptical that this will be the end of the world. I would like to know what others think about 12/21/2012.

Cool.
Im not sure about the end of the world. they don't really believe it is the complete end. just a new beginning. My birthday is also on 12/21/2012 Ill be 21 on that day too. I always liked my age and date coming together like that. Im interested, and im reading up on what is supposed to happen that day.

I now what is happen and is many silly people think the world is finish. Is the end from Maya calaendar because is projection in a long number they say becuase is long time before so they pick a date that is far in the future for them. They never expect to live long to this date in the calendar and you now what is true mayan is all dead so the end of the world is before for this people. The end of the world come every day for some one so lesson is to live and not think about the end.

Someone has been predicting the end of the world since the days of Christ, if not before. From what I have been reading, 2012 is not the end as much as a change or enlightenment. This old world has had many changes and many more will happen. But it still spins and continues on. I wouldn't doubt that something might happen on Dec 21, 2012, like a massive earthquake or tidal wave but I don't believe it will be the end. Just remember the panic that happened before the millenium. People were convinced then that the world was going to end. If it gives you any comfort, the bible says "No man will know the day or the hour."

Ha... it's only the end of calendar. He like a circle, no place for new days. Doomsday can be short if the war begins...
