Online dating for losers?
I never thought of it this way...but this article http://tinyurl.com/2nxedx is a very logical approach to why online dating is so popular these days.

Makes sense to me. I have a cousin who met her husband through an online dating service, so it really does work.

well i personally have always prefered to keep away from online dating sites, maybe its just that Im a pesimist who finds it hard to trust people. donno. Im sure that this services has changed alota people's lives for the better but there have also been some really wierd cases of imposters fooling inocent folk, just for kicks.
im glad ur cousin was lucky to find love. i just dont think its for me though. I'd prefer to do things the old fashioned way.

I probably wouldn't hesitate to use one of the more well-known services such as EHarmony, but I've always assumed that most of the people on these things are looking to get married. Maybe I'm wrong, but that always the impression I've gotten from the commercials.

I woonce made a wish for, like, the girl of me dreams. I like, saw these people.... and they were havin' great foon throwin' pennies into a wishin' well, and they was makin' wishes. And so I run home and gathers up all me pennies into a big jar an' come back a little later and dump'd em all in at once. Then this youngster arrives at the well with his allowance, an' I like, had to dissapoint 'im. I said to 'im, "Sorry there, little brother, they've been sold out."

It takes time to know the person who really is....I mean if you met someone online then both you met in person don't assume that he/she's perfect or something...you still need to know him/her better....

If someone's lonely, then online dating's worth a try at least. Surely there's a feeling that it goes against love being for the fates to decide, however. That's what I've always thought anyhey

I think , surely it works for some people. that's why there are so many of those types of web sites. Just keep in mind nobody's perfect and your online dating partner too.
