Nick Schwardson. Not too fond of his newest stuff, but his old shows were quite literally some of the funniest things I've seen in my life.

I think its got to be Cedric the Entertainer. He just makes me laugh so much.

Without a doubt, the most cutting edge for their time were:

Richard Pryor
George Carlin
Eddie Murphy (Yes, he used to be really funny)

The only "current" comic I like is Lisa Lampinelli (sp?)

Did a great Burt Reynolds impersonation and was the best Weekend Anchor in the history of SNL. It's a shame that he was never able to get a film career going.

Can't argue with those choices. I don't keep up with stand-up as much as I used to, so I'm not familiar with Lisa L. I do like Sarah Silverman's act, though.
