I don't think they stole anything. What they didn't firmly take away from the Bears, the Bears gave away w/their timid defensive schemes & poor offense. The hole in the middle of the field was WAY too big all game long. Grossman needs to get the ax. I thought he would step up in this game (like he did against the Saints) but he was predictably unpredictable & blew it.

I think Dennis Green said it best in his postgame rant after the Cards blew a Monday night lead over the Bears. He said something to the effect of "the Bears are what we thought they are, and we let them off the hook."

They were finally exposed in the Superbowl.

As far as Grossman getting the ax, I wonder if it will happen? The ownership is obviously cheap (cince they still haven't given a new contract to Lovie Smith or Ron Rivera), so I don't know if they'll be willing to pay good money for anyone. Of course, a seasoned veteran like Drew Bledsoe might work wonders for them if they can give him time in the pocket.
