I hope you're right. From the looks of the score, that would be one helluva game!

Man, the Packers looked terrible tonight in their pre-season game against the Bengals. It's going to be a long year for Favre and company.

What a strange Week 1 in the NFL. The Raiders looked terrible, as usual, but the Seahawks couldn't score a TD, and the Broncos and Panthers lost their season openers.
The Cowboys also dropped their game to the Jags.

Seems like a lot of the teams being picked to go to the Super Bowl this year picked up a loss. It's a long season, but this doesn't bode well for these clubs.

Anyone else have any thoughts on Week 1?

Wow. The Monday night game between the Steelers and Jags ended up being 9-0 for the Jags. That's the lowest scoring game in MNF history. And this follows up the Chargers/Raiders blowout. That's two shutouts in a row. I can hear the remote control buttons clicking all across the country.

It's a strange year in the NFL so far. I haven't seen a pattern so far.

Are 2-0 teams like the Vikings and Saints for real?

Are the Bears, Ravens, Chargers and Jags as good as they look?

Who will get off to the 0-3 start, the Panthers or Bucs?

Which is the worst team in the NFL: Titans, Packers, Raiders or someone else?

I think the patterns start to take shape this week.

Colts vs. Jags...Steelers vs. Bengals...Seahawks vs. Giants...It's time to see if the balance of power between these teams has changed since lsat year.

I want to see how that Vikings/Bears game goes. Somehow, I still don't trust the Vikings, even though they've beaten two playoff teams from last year.

Anyway, I've been surprised by the monday night games so far.

Even though the Falcons/Saints game pits to unbeaten teams this week, that's more a matter of luck with the Saints. After years of mediocrity, there is no way the execs through New Orleans would come out so hot, despite Reggie Bush.

I'm sure they wanted the home opener in post-Katrina New Orleans and a good game might actually break out.

Looks like the Saints are for real, and I'm amazed at how poorly the Steelers have done.

At least my Giants are still doing well. Shame that Tikki's gonna retire ar season's end.

Everyone thinks the Colts have it in the bag. Give me the Bears in a grind it out victory.

Looks like the Colts pulled it off. Great start to the game.
