Default How Many DVD's Do You Own?

Or do you primarily rent DVD's? I was never able to get the DVD's returned on time, so I just got in the habit of buying them. But now I've got so damn many of the things all over the house I don't know what to do with 'em. They're like tribbles, only not cute.

My guess is that I own about 1000 DVD's, and about 500 of them should be gotten rid of.

Sounds like an all-DVD yard sale is needed. Or, you could just give them away to your friends.

I belong to Netflix, so I mainly get all my movies through them. I will, however, buy a movie if I thought it was particularly good or it has some sentimental value to me.

At the moment, I own right around 100 DVDs.

I own less than 50. I prefer to rent rather than own. I like the dynamic experience of watching something fresh and uncertain. The ones I own are usually hard to rent, often arthouse or foreign films.

For some reason, I had you pegged as an arthouse sort of guy. Looks like I was right. Do you watch much French cinema?

I would guess around 200 or 250. We own probably 500 plus tapes.

I own too many... although I prefer renting movies, I have been buying some all these years. I have kept only my favorite ones but, still, they are too many.
