Regardless if you're religous or not I thought this movie was very deep. I didn't care much at first for the sub-titles but it was the type of movie that sucks you in and you forget you're even reading the sub-titles.
For anyone that is even moderatly religous it is an interesting movie to watch as all the sudden a few things you learned way back in Sunday school start making sense. I thought Mel Gibson did a great job in the movie. Although it was extremely violent, this is really the only way to do it. How can you really sugar coat a crucifiction? |

This is a movie I eventually will see, but I have yet to summon up the will to do so yet. From the subject matter to the subtitles, it sounds like an intense experience. But I feel the need to experience one of the more notable movies of the last few years.

Haven't seen it yet. I'm certain that I will one of these days, but I'm not in any hurry.
Jeremy, how much of the film was Christ actually getting tortured and crucified? |
