Hello! I would like to receive recommendations on suspense/ horror movies such as the great "rose mary's baby", or " 6th sense" or the spaniard "el orfanato".....

Good call. The last 15 minutes or so of Audition were especially insane. I loved how the villain seemed so calm when she was going about her grisly business.

to me, the most terrifying idea is possession - whether of demons or aliens or some strange supernatural being unbeknownst to us. ergo...

- the original "the exorcist"
- the exorcism of emily rose (though the german film that tells a similar story is better - "requiem")
- the recent "the fourth kind" scared me to pieces, even though its all fake
- amityville horror

Being buried alive for me, which why I should recommend City of the Living Dead and by extension the work of Lucio Fulci.

Some people say his films have no plot, I prefer to think of them as pushing the boundaries of horror story telling outside the linear and into the realms of metaphysics and the surreal.
