I made an account just to reply to this god awful thread. What kind of crack are you smoking that has gotten you so high as to even consider the idea that Twilight is a good movie? And to go go as far as to put it on the same level as a movie such as The Dark Knight?

Seriously, you are entitled to your opinion, but this thread would make for a good spoof/troll example.

Twilight = Taylor Laughtner is young and ripped with a cute face. He makes teen girls and gay guys orgasm on sight. There is also a sub plot about vampires and werewolves using decent special effects. If you enjoyed it for the sfx.. please go see avatar and then you can write this one off your list. However, for the majority of you who loved the idea of ripped young guys modeling sci-fi style outfits then this movie is a showcase of exactly that. I am willing to be your drive-thru shrink to break this brain damaging plague you have.

The Dark Knight = A homage to an incredible comic book character, Batman. It exceeds the expectations from fans and movie-goers alike. The bar was raised 10 fold for the majority of lackluster money grubbing Hollywood movie making after this movie. The acting was brilliant, every character(aside from maybe Batman's girl) was 100% in character, so much so that Heath Ledger even died while playing the part of the joker from an overdose in drugs. The direction was awesome, making the budget seem worth every penny. The plot was true to story and more lively than you could expect from any comic book story. I cannot put to words just how great this movie was. Watch it, and I guarantee within the first 5 minutes you will be sold. If not, maybe you hate movies.. which would almost be understandable.. similar to how I do not like cats.

Hope this clears things up, you Twilight fans need to lay off the crack pipe and watch regular internet porn or something.. clearly you have a problem.

Yeah, I have to agree with the contingent here: The Dark Knight is better in just about every conceivable way. I don't know if I can think of a single aspect of the filmmaking process in which Twilight surpasses it.
