The guy at Circuit City told me that this was some kind of sequel to Training Day, but I have my doubts as to whether or not he has any idea what he's talking about.

I don't think it had anything to do with Training Day, but it wasn't that bad. Typical post-Training Day gritty cop movie where everyone is corrupt or otherwise tainted.
Great cast, though.
