Holed up in Bruges, Belgium after a difficult job, two hit men (Farrell and Gleeson) begin to differ on their views of life and death as they become used to local customs.
Personally I'm not a huge fan of Farrell. I think he has limited talent but in the right role (Miami Vice) he's alright. In Bruges seems like it's right up his alley. He plays a tough, foul mouthed hit man in this one. Looking forward to it. |

He should certainly excel at the foul-mouthed part.

Just saw it last night at an advance screening. Without giving anything away, I gotta say, I was pleasantly surprised. Very good, funny film with smart dialogue and interesting, refreshing unpolitically correct banter. And Farrell is great in it, just great. It occured to me while watching that he was basically playing himself--foul mouthed, funny sort of nervous guy. I definitely would recommend seeing it.

Really. Sort of reminded me of The Matador in that both films did a good job of showing the funny, human side to the life of a hitman.
