When a regular guy (Luke Wilson) dumps a superhero (Uma Thurman) because of her neediness, she uses her powers to make his life a living hell.

I saw a preview of this at the theater a while back. Besides wanting her for star profile, I don't exactly see Uma Thurman as a superheroine. Comic book women tend to be curvy, not skinny.

Guess getting cast as The Bride made her an action hero.

Dude, Uma Thurman is SO hot. I mean, she is THE bomb. I love Uma Thurman. I cannot WAIT to see this movie at the theater.

Did I mention that I LOVE Uma Thurman?

It finished #7 on opening weekend and pulled down 8.7 million. Looks like this film is going to be a major bomb.

i LOVE uma as well. but it seems that she's kinda like box-office poison. well, can't exactly blame her cause she IS poison ivy.

anyways back to the film, is it really that unfunny to the extent that no one wanna watch it? but the trailer looks like fun especially the scene when uma threw a big fat shark at luke wilson and anna faris.

I never saw the trailers for the film, but it wouldn't surprise me if the movie poster confused some potential viewers. Sure, Uma was standing on a crushed car, but she was wearing civilian attire. Many people may not have realized that the movie involved a superhero, and they may have simply thought it was the next in a long line of jealous ex-girlfriend movies. They should have probably put her in a costume for the poster to better get across the point of the film.
