Shane is on a distinguished road
Default Talladega Nights

Discuss it here.

NASCAR stock car racing sensation Ricky Bobby (Will Ferrell) is a national hero because of his "win at all costs" approach. He and his loyal racing partner, childhood friend Cal Naughton Jr. (John C. Reilly), are a fearless duo -- "Shake" and "Bake" by their fans for their ability to finish so many races in the #1 and #2 positions, with Cal always in second place. When flamboyant French Formula One driver Jean Girard (Sacha Baron Cohen) challenges "Shake" and "Bake" for the supremacy of NASCAR, Ricky Bobby must face his own demons and fight Girard for the right to be known as racing's top driver.

I've gotta figure that this will be pretty good (at least if you like movies like Anchorman). John C. Reilly has always been great, and NASCAR has just been begging to become the object of parody.

Ohh, For Love of the Game was quite a movie.

I'm looking forward to Ricky Bobby. Will Ferrell is a favorite, though his last few movies have disappointed me. This one looks like a winner, though.

Wow! Looks like Talladega is headed for a $47 million weekend. Pretty impressive.

I didn't realise that Leslie Bibb was the female lead in this one until I checked out the film's poster. If only the other half of Popular, Carly Pope, is also active in films, then I'll be happy man.
