Here are some selected DVD releases for July 11th, 2006.

1. Basic Instinct 2 - Sharon Stone gets naked some more, but hasn't it all been seen before? This movie should have been made in the 90s to capitalize on the success of the original. Now, it feels like too little, too late.

2. Reno 911 (Season 3) - If you've never seen it, check out this hilarious show about inept cops in Reno. Pretty funny stuff.

3. Perry Mason (Season 1 - Volume 1) - For all the big Raymond Burr fans out there. Watch Perry get people on the stand and reduce them to sobbing wrecks.

4. Pink Floyd - Pulse - Pink Floyd in concert during their Division Bell tour. If you're fan of the group, this one seems to be a good bet.

6. Bill Maher: New Rules

7. Dukes of Hazzard (Unrated -HD DVD) - Contains 10 minutes of previously unseen hardcore sex between Willie Nelson, Burt Reynolds, and Jessica Simpson.

8. ECW: One Night Stand 2 - Hardcore wrestling done the WWE way.

9. I Dream of Jeannie (Complete 2nd Season)

10. Weeds (Season 1) - Suburban mom sells pot. Yeah!

11. Pitch Black (Unrated - HD DVD) - Vin Diesel at his best. The original Riddick movie.

12. Night Shift (comes in special case) - Two morgue workers decide to get into the prostitution business. This movie put Michael Keeton on the map.


There are, of course, many other DVDs coming out, but these are the ones that jumped out at me.
