Default The Incredible Hulk

Louis Leterrier (Transporter, Unleashed) will be the director.

Leterrier added this about the budget: "It's enough. Listen, I made Transporter 1 for 17M$, Unleashed for 20M$ and Transporter 2 for 22M$. I'm used to small budgets. This one's very big in Hollywood standards and huge compared to my first films. I'm going to put every penny on screen."

Plus, Eric Bana is still a possibility to return as Bruce Banner even though Dominic Purcell (Prison Break) has been talked about for the role.

Regarding the action: "There's only one way out of this one and it's up...," he said.

He said he's "open to both" a name actor or an unknown to play Abomination.

Regarding Zak Penn's script: "Zak's turning in the best screenplay I ever read. I'm serious."

Actually, I'm looking forward to this one. Ang Lee was totally the WRONG director for the first instalment. Based on Leterrier's previous films, I think he can pull this off. Seriously, who wants a Hulk movie to be Oscar-ish? It's got to be an all-out action film! I say, bring it on, Leterrier!

I agree with the Ang Lee statement. The director of The Joy Luck Club was not a good idea.

Holy crap! Edward Norton has signed on to play Dr. Bruce Banner!

The movie will be released on June 13, 2008. So much for that direct-to-DVD release. This one is gonna rock. I can hardly wait.

Norton is a fine actor, no doubt. But I don't think he looked the part. I still think that Bana should have reprised his role. Same for Connelly. The reason why the first one tanked was more due to the script. It was slow-paced and there was not much action for a film that was touted as a summer blockbuster film.

Now I wonder who's gonna replace Connelly? I hope she's some actress that I like. If not, I don't think this will be on my must-see list but on my maybe list.

I can live with Liv Tyler. I'm hoping this movie has more of an action focus anyway.

The villain has also been announced as the Abomination. For those non-comic geeks out there, he was a Russian spy who ended up getting powers very similar to the Hulk, but it caused him to be all mutated-looking, hence the nickname.

Ang Lee didn't direct The Joy Luck Club. I don't think big blockbusters is his forte.

I don't know how much interest I have in this series reboot.

Tim Roth has been cast as the Abomination. That's two excellent actors on board. I'm getting a good feeling about this one.
