Default Despicable Me - Loved it!

Ok...so I finally got some free time to watch "Despicable Me" in theaters yesterday. While I went in with fairly low expectations, I came out wanting to watch it again! I gotta say, it was a great movie and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves animated flicks and/or loves cute characters (because there's a lot of them).

The film does have a bunch of unexplained things and a few plot holes, but the film is SO entertaining that you forget about all of that. In short, go see it. You won't be disappointed.

Taking into account only what would be considered "family friendly movies", Pixar cannot be topped. From Pixar I believe that "The Incredibles" is its under appreciated best product, although I have a soft spot for "Finding Nemo" and "Up" (hey, I agree, "Toy Story" and "Monsters Inc." are awesome!). Their worst effort is without a doubt "Cars" (I almost don't even like it), but even that is above a lot of other crap from other studios.

I saw the movie “Despicable Me” with 9 of my girls (daughters & granddaughters) and we range from 8 to 60+ years old. Everyone enjoyed it tremendously. I laughed more than I have in a long, long time. I give it an excellent rating for family entertainment. If anyone needs to scream with laughter for a change, do not miss this movie. The ending was an aaaah, how sweet moment; the perfect ending to a very enjoyable movie.

Loved this movie (and I'm not the biggest animation fan). Genuinely funny and well written. I thought this was head and shoulders above to vastly over-rated Toy Story 3. A big surprise.
