Cool in-depth review, man. Everyone i've talked to loved that movie (myself included). Are you surprised at all by the less than stellar opening weekend numbers?

It's a great film with a new take on the traditional idea of a superhero, really worth watching.

Glad you liked the review. Yeah, I was a little surprised, but the decision to stay true to the comic's roots and garner an R-rating probably kept a huge chunk of the usual superhero audience out of the theaters. If it has been PG-13, animated, and in 3D, I'm sure it would've made $200 million opning weekend.

I highly agree...I really liked this film. The idea of an 11 yo kicking ass and taking names is GREAT!
