I've compiled how much money each of the major film studios made in 2009, as well as listing their biggest hits and misses.


WARNER BROS. ($4 billion)

Hits: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, The Hangover, The Blind Side, Sherlock Holmes

Misses: Ninja Assassin, The Informant

FOX ($4.04 billion)

Hits: Avatar, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, Night at the Museum 2, X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Misses: Amelia, All About Steve, Fantastic Mr. Fox

SONY ($3.59 billion)

Hits: 2012, Angels and Demons, Paul Blart, This Is It, The Ugly Truth, Julie and Julia
