Here's the place to discuss the latest Robert Downey Jr. film, Sherlock Holmes. He teams up with Dr. Watson (Jude Law) to track down the Satanic Lord Blackwood (Mark Strong), a British noble bent on world conquest. Holmes must also match wits with a sexy American portrayed by Rachel McAdams.

Has anyone seen it? If so, what did you think?

I have heard from friends that this is a really good movie but unlike what you would think Sherlock Holmes would be like. I look forward to seeing this. Should I make an effort to see it at the theater or wait for the DVD to be released?

I'd suggest waiting for the DVD. It's enjoyable enough, but it should be just as enjoyable at home.

I watched this last week. It is really a great movie. I enjoyed watching every single scene. A worth-watching movie. Highly recommended.

There are plans to to turn the Sherlock Holmes film series into a franchise and Brad Pitt is linked to play a villain. Except Downey Jr. commented that Holmes and Watson might have a civil partnership in the next film and if so the person who owns the rights to Conan Doyle's works will refuse to let them make it. I think with Brad Pitt in the film though it will clearly gain more views and I would definitely see it

I really liked this film and would not mind a sequel; it was set up for one, as anyone would expect. This film had action and humor and mystery, and what more could a fanboy or fangirl wish for? The choice to see Sherlock Holmes should be “elementary, dear Watson,” so get out there and watch it!

my roommate said this was pretty clever...I'll have to see it first though...Robert Downy really cracked me up in Ironman

i am yet to watch this movie. I have heard positive reviews from everyone, Hope to watch the movie this weekend.
