When a film's price is adjusted after opening weekend, is the price then its anticipated final gross (example: Pan's Labyrinth is 25.05 after adjustment. Is this the market's 'expectation' that its final gross will be c.25 mill? And if it goes up or down this reflects perception that it will or will not make that figure?) or are there further calculations to be made?

You are correct, Shane.
Take note that 25.05 will sort of be the market's 'expectation' of Pan's Labyrinth final gross at the end of its 4-week run only. Not it's total box-office.
