Darren Aronofsky
Hey all! I'm new to CT and just wanted to say I'm excited to catch up with this site and get to know some of you! I'm from Cali and am definitely a film buff. I caught Requiem For A Dream on HBO the other night and was reminded why Aronofsky is my favorite. For me, he utilizes every element of cinema to produce truly gripping stories. Anyone else like him, or have a favorite film of his?

I've actually got Requiem For A Dream sitting around the house right now. Got it from Netflix, but I haven't watched it yet. I've heard for years how brilliant it is. Why I haven't seen it yet is beyond me.
