who is the better Director?

Respectfully, I have to choose Scorsese. I think Goodfellas was a superior film. Plus, his overall body of work (Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, King of Comedy, etc.) is more impressive, in my opinion.

Man, we're talking about two talented individuals here. I'm really drawn to Coppola's earlier work (Godfather, The Conversation, Apocalypse Later), but overall, I feel that Scorsese's body of work is more profound. It's a difficult question, but I'm going to have to go with Scorsese on this one.

This is probably the worst noob move of all time.
But I didn't like the Godfather...it was an okay film but I didn't see what was so special about it. I however adored Goodfellas. And films like Taxi Driver, Casino and Raging Bull are up there in my top ten fave movies. |

Francis Coppola is better director than Martin Scorsese. I have seen many films directed by Coppola.
