I liked the Game. You definitely have to suspend disbelief, but it was a pretty good plot and visually interesting (which is one of the reasons I love Fincher). Plus it spawned a lot of movies with a similar basic plot, which is always the mark of a good film. You like it?

I actually even liked Panic Room. Though Forrest Whitaker made the movie for me.

Have yet to see Benjamin Button...

Glad to see Alan Smithee finally getting the credit he's due. Hollywood just wouldn't be the same without him.

I too would have a hard time limiting my "greatest director" pick to a single director, so here's a list of my favorite directors:
  • Woody Allen
  • Alfred Hitchcock
  • John Carpenter
  • Stanley Kubrick
  • Billy Wilder
  • Orson Welles
  • Robert Altman
  • PT Anderson
  • The Coen Brothers
