Default Mad Max: Fury Road - Mad Max IV is Coming!
Set to begin filming in August, 2010, Mad Max: Fury Road will be the fourth film in the trilogy formerly starring Mel Gibson.

Set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, former cop "Mad" Max Rockatansky tries to survive by any means necessary against mutants, bikers, and all manner of other threats.

In Mad Max: Road Fury the role of Max will be taken over by British actor Tom Hardy. He's portrayed Heathcliff in a version of Wuthering Heights and also British criminal Charles Bronson.

Also joining the cast will be Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron.


So what do you think? Will this be an incredible new start to the franchise, or should they just have left the damn thing alone after Tina Turner nearly derailed it as Aunty Entity?

I wish they'd just leave these old goodies alone and try to do something new...
