With the phenomenal success of The Da Vinci Code, Sony looks to fashion a sequel from Dan Brown's Angels & Demons, the novel that introduced the character Robert Langdon. Angels & Demons follows Langdon as he tries to solve the murder of a scientist and prevent the Illuminati from blowing up the Vatican during a papal conclave. Akiva Goldsman returns to adapt the screenplay.
