Can't blame you there. Gene Kelly was the man. I'm not normally a fan of musicals, but Singin' in the Rain is the exception. Kelly just has such an easy charm about him, and Donald O'Connor was amazing in the "Make 'Em Laugh" number.

Meet John Doe. Great feel good movie in the vein of Its a Wonderful Life

Giant. James Dean as a misunderstood teenager -- he is brilliant in this one.

My favourite classic movie is The Good, the Bad and the Ugly(1966)
I like everything about the story, acting and after all the music especially the last gunfight music.

This is actually coming on TCM this month as part of their 31 days of Oscar programming schedule. Some of my favorites like Lawrence Of Arabia and Aliens will be playing this month and I can't wait to check em out.

I didn't even know TCM was doing this, but my job has a few marketing campaigns going for Turner and I noticed this as one of the campaigns. It's pretty much Oscar movies all this month which is garaunteed pure entertainment

Gargoyles 1972 movie. They need to make a remake and use the original storyline.

Are you talking about the horror film? I vaguely remember them showing this on Channel 8 in the DFW metroplex when I was a child.

I'd also recommend Race with the Devil as a remake. It was a bizarre action/supernatural/road film starring Warren Oates and Peter Fonda as vacationers who run afoul of cultists.
