Ok so I have decided that I want to watch as many classic movies as I can like I would prefer them to be tearjerkers because I've been told they are very good! So please give me any recommendations and they can be in black and white! The older the better! Also they can be romantic and dramatic and some thrillers I want to watch as many!

Just try “Moulin rouge” & “The notebook”. Hope it will be a good option as far as romantic movies concern. You will like it definitely!

In fact, either is ok. Just follow your heart.

Well I Definitely recon "Random Harvest" (1942) if you want to see a classic romantic tearjerker, it will be ideal for your choice.

I just watched Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, on TCM's 31 Days of Oscar, it's a great film with some romantic tones, but also with a semi-dark plot, with themes like cancer and suicide.
It has been a great month for films due to this marathon and I will have to say I will miss the event. I've had the good fortune to be on the marketing team that is handling the campaign for TCM, and that gives me a little insight into what films are being aired, which has definitely been awesome. ![]() Anyway when you get a chance catch Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, it's, in my opinion, Elizabeth Taylor's best. |
