We tried to see this movie on Friday night, but it was sold out. On Saturday night we got in after standing in line for half an hour and watching commercials and trailers for another 25 minutes. Was the movie worth it?
The plot: The wealthy military industrialist, a brilliant engineer and a playboy Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), the CEO of Stark Industries, travels to Afghanistan to market and demonstrate his new missile systems to the U.S. military establishment. His car convoy is attacked and everyone was killed except Stark who was wounded and captured by an Afghan warlord and is forced to make WMDs for him. While in captivity in a cave, he designed armored suit that helped him escape from his captors. Upon return to America, he decides to perfect his design and use the suit to fight evil. Meanwhile the warlord got his hands on original design’s blueprints.
