RIP Corey Haim
Corey Haim, the teen star of films from the 80s (often associated with Corey Feldman), was found dead on Wednesday. An autopsy will be performed, but many speculate that the death was the result of adrug overdose.
Sadly, Haim was said to be winning his battle against drugs in the weeks leading up to his death. According to an addiction specialist, Haim was "weaned down to literally zero medications" over the last two weeks. Haim, 38, was found dead in the apartment shared with his mother. Haim had been helping her deal with cancer. He was taken to Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California, early Wednesday, where he was pronounced dead at 2:15 a.m., according to Los Angeles County Deputy Coroner Ed Winter.
