Is Nic Cage Broke?

According to recent reports, it looks like actor Nic Cage owes the IRS a whopping $6 million in back taxes. A bank also claims they loaned him another $2 million in August.

The star of films such as Knowing and Leaving Las Vegas is being forced to sell one of his estates, and he's also suing his former business manager, blaming the whole mess on him.

Damn. Hard to imagine someone who's appeared in so many successful movies could be in such dire financial straits.

Maybe we should take up a collection.
