The annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner generally draws its share of celebs as well as an array of politicos (and, of course, the president and first lady). Among the Hollywood crowd at this year’s event were Tyra Banks, shown here in a photo by AP’s Evan Agostini, Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore, and Natasha Bedingfield. Eva Longoria Parker was there hob-nobbing with Jason Wu (the designer of Michelle Obama’s inaugural gown), as was fashion icon Donatella Versace. A less formal but very worthy affair — the 16th Annual Race to Erase MS Gala in Los Angeles — attracted Amanda Bynes, Jewel, Jon Lovitz and Anne Heche, among many others. Ubiquitous black seems to have been the color of choice for most women who attended, but not Jewel, whose pretty purple number sparkled.
