The National Enquirer is reporting that actor Owen Wilson was rushed to a Los Angeles area hospital after allegedly slicing his wrists and consuming an undisclosed quantity of pills.

A family member discovered Wilson in a comatose state,and immediately summoned help. He was transferred to a second hospital after being stabilized, and is currently going through a detoxification process.

Wilson has also reportedly (according to Variety) decided not to appear in Ben Stiller's ensemble comedy Tropic Thunder.

More reliable sources are also backing up the Enquirer's reports. Just goes to show that money can't buy happiness. What a shame, as Owen is one of my favorites. Let's hope he gets help and is making people laugh in no time.
