She caught my attention in Anthony Minghella's The Talented Mr. Ripley. After that, I took an effort to catch most, if not all, of her movies. She was absolutely charming in Bandits. Guess that explains why both Bruce Willis and Billy Bob Thornton fall in love with her in the film. And of course, she was mesmerizing as the late Katharine Hepburn in The Aviator. She fully deserves that Oscar win for the film. Haven't seen Babel yet but I'm dying to see her duke it out with Judi Dench in Notes On A Scandal.

IMHO, the best actress working today. I've seen all her movies, and they just keep getting better and better.
