I can't think of a less likely Comedian than Christian Slater...maybe Chris Tucker.

I must say, Alec Baldwin or Mickey Rourke both sound fine as The Comedian.

COMEDIAN: Maybe it was the scar, but Tom Berenger did Sgt. Barnes, so I'm sure he could pull off The Comedian. If you want someone imposing and mouthy for what amounts to a scene or two, how about Jesse Ventura?

OZYMANDIAS: Edward Norton - I actually considered him for Rorschach, then I realized Norton stands 6'1". There aren't many actors with the superhero body, so I'm going for something different here. I figure Norton could do the friendly, smiling, all-American guy for most of the movie, then suddenly turn insane when needed.

If Edward Norton is too young for this role, then I would suggest someone like Tim Robbins. He would enjoy playing against type as the epitomy of the corporate bigwig, I'm sure.

RORSCHACH: William H. Macy - I've said for years he looks like Rorschach, so I have to choose him. I figure he would appreciate the chance to chew some scenery, since his characters are usually more understated. "HRRM..."

NIGHT OWL: Bill Paxton - He's about the right age. He can be both an action hero or whiny. Of course, Nicholas Cage would get this role.

SILK SPECTRE: I'm looking for someone tall and slutty in this role. The best I can figure is someone like Cameron Diaz.

DR. MANHATTAN: CGI, and voiced by Liam Niesan. I figure his wooden voice would fit perfectly with Manhattan's inhuman tones.

MOLOCH: F. Murray Abraham. He looks wormy enough.
